is a national non-profit agency providing services to individuals with disabilities in 11 states.
The Executive Assistant to the Chief Development Officer acts as his confidential agent on all matters as it relates to the business of Community Options, Inc.
and other subsidiaries.
This entails carrying out communication with executive and management staff on behalf of the Chief Development Officer.
The Executive Assistant shall have designated signatory approval at the discretion of the Chief Development Officer.
This person manages the Chief Development Officer's schedule for all meetings, screens phone calls, shapes agendas for executive and other meetings, makes travel arrangements, handles all expense reports and all other logistics.
The Executive Assistant, when designated, acts on the Chief Development Officer's behalf and assists him in the review and research associated with the corporation.
$40,000- $44,000 based on experience Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or minimum three years equivalent managerial or supervisory experience in a non-profit or private sector firm.
Valid driver's license Commitment to and knowledge of all aspects of the philosophy of Community Options, Inc.
Strong planning skills Excellent written and oral communication skills Ability to multi-task within very short time frames under extreme pressure Ability to present facts and recommendations effectively Ability to maintain effective relationships with other executive and management staff within multiple state and international locations Ability to always maintain communication with the Chief Development Officer on all issues concerning him and Community Options, Inc.
Excellent time management skills and the ability to develop and implement a list of priorities
Responsibilities:
Researches and recommends immediate and long-range scheduling Troubleshoots with families, staff, vendors and volunteers as it relates to the operational aspects of Community Options, Inc.
Oversees the national administrative pool and allocates resources based on projected needs Provides the Chief Development Officer with recommendations regarding priority development for meetings and staff development Acts as liaison to executive and line staff for the Chief Development Officer Assists the Chief Development Officer with all elements of operations including but not limited to:
correspondence, travel, logistics and ranking issues by priority for his review Follows up on all issues assigned by the Chief Development Officer to staff to ensure a timely response Monitors and reports on issues both general and confidential to the Chief Development Officer Plans, organizes and controls activities of the Chief Development Officer under his direction Reviews all documents and other correspondence sent to the Chief Development Officer Working Conditions:
